A good qualifying session for Jones gave him the perfect opportunity to take another win – and he grabbed it with both hands. He did not have it all his own way though, as he had to fight off Aidas Staškevičius to take the victory.
After a chaotic start which saw several drivers have incidents, Jones pulled out a 2 second lead over his rivals.
Simon Trendell worked his way up in to second place, overtaking Staškevičius and Dahlberg early on. However, Trendell retired on lap 8, handing second and third back to Staškevičius and Dahlberg respectably.
James A. Barrington and James Yates had a great recovery drive after incidents at the start of the race, with both driver sticking together and scything through the field. Yates would finish in 7th, closely followed by Barrington in 8th position.
Further up the field, steady laps by David Polczer and Julian Dyer earned them 4th and 5th position each, followed by Mika Båsk in 6th position.
Jones took the finish 2.195 seconds clear of Aidas Staškevičius, and also took the fastest lap on the penultimate tour of the circuit with a time of 1:24.102.
